Abstract
The textbook introduces the sociology of education as a subdiscipline of sociology. It deals with the relationships between social changes and changes in sphere of education.
The textbook concerns mainly on sociology of family, organizations involved in education, work and mass media. The topics are discussed in relation with andragogy and adult education.
