Nocardia farcinica as the Causative Agent of a Brain Abscess in a Patient with Interstitial Lung Diseases

Abstract

The possibilities of two step polyphasic identification of nocardiosis causal organism in the patient with cerebral abscess are described together with antibiotic sensitivity testing and etiologic therapy of the patient after neurosurgical intervention.
