Abstract
Social and pedagogical context for university education of preschool teaching at beginning of the 1990s and in the first decade of the 21. century.The chapter analyses two basic study programmes providing training for preschool teachers at the Pedagogical Faculty, their concept and continuous innovation over the last twenty years,reflection of students, overview of research and initiatives of this the university institution.
