Abstract
The author deals with two main sources which inform about the marriage and coronation of John of Luxembourg and Elisabeth Přemyslide, the Old Czech Chronicle written by the so called Dalimil, and of the Chronicle of Zbraslav by Otto of Thuringia and Peter of Zittau. She analyses and compares the character of the information of the mentioned chronicles, which was influenced by the origin and activities of the authors of both works.
