Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify differences in the concentration of attention extreme endurance loaded adolescents. We used standardized psychodiagnostic tests (Jirásek square, rectangle numeric, Bourdon test and Disjunk reaction time II).

To compare differences in the results of two groups of triathletes are the results of an F-test used t-test for independent samples with equal variances. Verification of factor validity, we conducted a confirmation factor analysis using.

In order to establish standards of performance in individual tests for both age groups results were converted to standardized values. The test results showed that a group of older triathletes reported a significantly higher ability to concentrate attention.

We found that the ability to concentrate attention in the junior categories increases with age. The figures were significantly higher in the group triathletes aged (18-22 years) versus younger triathletes (15-17 years).

The differences were all statistically significant.
