The Literature of the Swedish Minority in Finland – the Way from the Poetry of Men to the Prose of Women

Abstract
The article concerns with the Finland-Swedish literature from a wider historical perspective. It mentions the circumstances of its origin, respectively of the moment, from which the Swedish language literature in Finland starts to be considered as a minority one (1898, 1906).
The article describes its development in the 20th century and its reflexion in the Czech Republic (translations).
