Abstract

Report on a case of 29-year-old woman with lagophthalmus that was misdiagnosed as a conjunctivitis by local ophthalmologist. After a proper diagnosis of peripheral paresis of VII. cranial nerve (facial nerve palsy) parainfectial etiology was established, a proper treatment was administered.

A full recovery was obsereved.
