Diseases of the stomach represent an important part of clinical gastroenterology. This chapter provides medical students with basics on anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
It covers systematically all basic issues, Helicobacter pylori infection, chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, sequelae of gastric surgery, tumours, functional disorders and some other less frequent disorders.
