Abstract
The study presents the fundamental interpretative dissent pertaining to the conception of the relation of time and eternity in Spinoza's philosophy - eternity as a strict intemporality and eternity as so-colled "sempiternity", e.g. ever existence of the eternal substance. On the grounds of a new analysis of the term "ever" we arrive at our own specific interpretative stand-point.
