Abstract
The author describes the language situation of the Mongolians who stay in the Czech Republic on a long-term basis. She particularly focuses on such aspects as their knowledge of the Czech language, language competence of the younger generation and the possibilities immigrants can make use of to maintain their mother tongue in the Czech Republic.
