Migration belongs among characteristic features of a modern society. Immigrants, or refugees often arrive in a country that is totally unknown for them.
What is peculiar for them are climatic conditions, food, language, rituals, customs and habits, as well as host people´s mentality. In the course of a close contact with an unknown culture these people experience a traumatic process of adjustment to the unknown culture, which is called culture shock.
Their internal identity is looking for new dimensions.
