Recreational Apartments in Ski-Resorts – a Modern Alternative to Traditional Cottages and Cabins or a Problem for the Municipality?

Abstract

This article describes the issue of recreational apartments situated in Czech ski-resorts. This new type of recreational property began to appear at the end of the 1990s.

These often spacious projects in fragile mountain areas present a number of negative impacts along with relatively few benefits.
