Abstract
Over the last few months preparations have been culminating for the introduction of a new model of the maturita exam. The level of the unified (state) portion of the maturita exam from geography will be derived from the quality of one single test.
The publicized illustrative maturita exam from geography, available at www.cermat.cz, gives an indication of the level of quality that we can expect. The primary intent of this article is, therefore, to evaluate the quality of said exam.
The article summarizes the opinions of four experts, focusing particularly on evaluating the validity of the test.
