Abstract

The aim of the study was to compare explosive ability of lower limbs of top level football players – goalkeepers. This ability is presented on realization of vertical jump.

Observing group (n = 15) had subgroup (n = 6) which absolved longitudinal measurement twice during two years, one player absolved four measurements during discontinuous four years. The study showed high intraindividual stability of selected parameters.

We deduce that every player have very good level of jump movement performance. With regard to intraindividual longitudinal observation we found that goalkeepers can keep top level performance of this skill during long time period.
