Abstract
The article introduces the area of waterlogged meadows, alluvial forests and the wider circumambience at the confluence of the rivers Morava and Dyje. It offers historical insight into the origin as well as in the complicated economic exploitation of the area and presents it as an extremely usable for didactic purposes - as a biologically and historically valuable area.
