Abstract
This part of the subsidiary chapter "Liverfailure" is dedicated to analysis of single principles and mechanisms involved in the complex and multiform clinical picture of terminal stage of a liver disease. Firstly it scans one by one the mechanisms of the three basic involved aetiopathogenetic bodies: hepatocellular insufficiency, inflammation and portal hypertension.
Then, in separate sections, the specific aspects of acute liver failure and chronic liver failure.
