The role of Schengen in cross-border co-operation on example of the cities Domažlice and Furth im Wald

Abstract

The article focuses on cross-border cooperation and regional identity of the partner cities Domazlice and Furth im Wald. It also analyzes the local press, cross-talks with the mayors of both cities.

Regional development is especially important in better communication with the Euroregion and mitigation activities of different regional structures in Germany and Czechia.
