Abstract
Textbook presents basic study material for equally named compulsory selectable course in subject study of pedagogy as well as an auxiliary study material for several other courses taught at the department of school and social pedagogy PedF UK. Text brings present-day information regarding the concept of health literacy to the extent of European health strategy with special attention given to the problematics of upbringing and education.
