The article deals with a less known part of the Czech-Polish exhibition at Hradec Králové in October 1933. The visit of Polish veterans of the January Uprising in the spa of Poděbrady is described on the basis of the documentation preserved in the family of Poděbrady mayor J.
Caňkář.
