Characterization of phosphate-rich metalodevite from Příbram, Czech Republic

Abstract

The phosphate-rich hydrated uranyl arsenate of zinc, metalodevite, was found in Příbram, Czech Republic. This paper presents the results of a complex mineralogical study, which was undertaken due to an anomalously high contents of phosphorus in metalodevite, found in this mineral species for the first time.

A discussion and comparison of currently obtained results and the original description of the mineral are given.
