Abstract
The aim of this instructional text is to introduce the issue of libraries‘ and other information institutions‘ management. It does not aim to cover issues of management in all its breadth.
For a more detailed study of this phenomena further recommended sources at the end of each chapter are provided. I am aware of that the basis of managerial work is the personal development of every manager, therefore exercises for personal development of managers are added to each chapter.
