Abstract
The author evaluates the conference for Ph.D. students from the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic in 2009. The paper summarizes main ideas of specialists in the following areas: the current state and perspectives of the Ph.D. study program, development of music education during the last 20 years, problems of voice education, instrumental creativity, listening to music and music therapy.
