Abstract
Nondifferentially stained karyotypes of 82 specimens originating from Senegal, Western Africa, belonging to approximately 25 species and 7 megachiropteran and microchiropteran families were analyzed. Karyotypes of some species were not reported before (Hipposideros cyclops, H. tephrus), and in other cases the information was available only from populations from other parts of the world or Africa.
