The map compares the elementary school network in the years 1961 and 2004 in municipalities of Czechia in territorial delimitation to 1. 1. 2005. As we must differentiate the significance of closing, or, on the contrary, of opening of a full nine-year elementary school and of a school with a lower number of classes, we gave a double significance to nine-year schools, that means to multiply the number of these schools by two.
