Abstract
A change of sexual self-realization belongs to the essence of human person. People with a mental handicap often have no interest and no chance to fulfil their sexual needs in a marriage, but still they have them.
If they fulfil them outside marriage, they get into contradiction with the teaching of the Catholic church which does not consider such a situation and offers no solutions to it.
