Abstract
Since 1961 the territorial differentiation of the population rose up, toward its concentration to commune over 10 thousands inhabitants (in 2001 with more then one half of the population of the Czech republic). The biggest decrease hade been concerned smallest communes with the exception of suburbanization process around greatest cities.
