Abstract
Air pollution with the heavy metals monitored between 1995 and 2004 either shows a slightly downward tendency (lead) or is rather stable (cadmium, arsenic), without any significant oscillations. The concentration of heavy metals in ambient air does not reach limit and/or recommended maximum values, except for several local industrially loaded sites.
