Abstract
Summarizing survey on the development and typology of the decorative morphology in the transformation of the ornamentation in the Byzantine illumination and in the regional schools of Italian illumination, emphasizing connections important for the morphology of the Czech illuminated manuscripts of the Luxembourg era.
