Abstract
there are defined some recourses for the new directions of punitive policy. After that follows the criticism of the Czech prison services emphasizing its main defects and also suggesting some potential ways how to solve the present unsatisfactory situation.
Next part is focusing on the institute of the restorative justice. The lecture continues with the new types of sentences established by the new criminal code.
