Abstract
The review of the book by Ladislav Kudrna "Bojovali a umírali v Indočíně [They Fought and Died in Indochina] (Prague: Ústav pro studium totalitních režimů and Naše vojsko, 2010) analyzes the relevance and usefulness of this book in shedding new light on the lives and experiences of the Czechoslovak members of the French Foreign Legion deployed in Indochina.
