Abstract

The article contributes to ongoing discussions about the need of interconnecting Theory and Practice in Social Work. By claiming that carefully tailored theological and philosophical University Degree Courses and Lifelong Learning Programmes can significantly contribute to this end, the authors enter the debate on the appropriate meaning and the form of theological education at socially and pastorally orientated study programmes.
