Abstract
The study presents the Christian tradition in the approach to strangers, immigrants and people on the road as well as a specifical social involvement of Christians in relation to strangers and migrants. Then it drafts the research of ethical and religious aspects within the framework of migration processes that are significant for the theological-ethical reflection and scientific approach to the issue.
