Publication

Abstract

The article deals with the problem posing method "What if not?" published by S. Brown and M.

Walter. This method serves as a tool enabling quite fast problem posing based on the initial text which in most cases is an already existing problem.

Consequently a particular example of manipulation with the method is shown - posing of problems for gifted students. The particular problems are attached to show e. g. how to move from an easy basic school problem up to a conical problem.
