Abstract
This study involves the first systematic comparison - in the Czech as well as the international context - of the national systems of the parliamentary control of EU affairs including the all contemporary 27 EU member states. The study also offers the first larger theoretically and methodologically informed explanation of the differences in the strength of the control mechanisms.
