The purpose of this paper is to simulate impacts of selected policy measures on transport behaviour, and induced external effects from air pollution. To simulate the impacts, we formulate and estimate a microeconomic model of transport behaviour of households and public agencies.
The model is calibrated and simulated for selected cities in the Czech Republic. We concentrate on health and environmental impacts of transport.
Emphasis is also on public finance aspects of regulation, such as financial stability of public transport agencies and tax distortions.
