Abstract
The author deals in his paper with different stages of preparation and realization of a survey: preparatory steps, pre-survey, operationalization of hypotheses and development of indicators, pilot survey, data gathering and transcription, and statistical analysis of data. The aim of the paper is to provide a brief overview of options available for survey preparation and realization and, further, to point out to certain practical difficulties of survey preparation and realization.
