Interdisciplinarity in Contemporary Science and Education

Abstract

The article briefly resumes development of science from modernity to postmodern philosophical frames, and stresses manifestation of current trends in the environmental field. It aims at episemological enframing of interdisciplinary approaches within scientific research and also in educational concepts.

Necessity of institutional reform bearing on paradigm changes is briefly mentioned. Key words: development of scientific thinking, possibilities opened for intedisciplinarity, application in environmental field.
