Abstract
The article presents an overview of the reception of the works by Søren Kierkegaard in the Czech speaking countries. It explains above all the scarceness of Kierkegaard translantions into Czech and furthermore the minimum reception of his philosophy in the Czech Republic in the second half of the 20th century.
