Abstract
This article analyzes the activities of Ferdinand Peroutka in the United States up until his death in 1978. Particular attention is devoted to Peroutka's involvement with the Council of Free Czechoslovakia and to his career as the director of the Czechoslovak Section of Radio Free Europe.
