Abstract
The corporal liability belongs to the most discussed problems of the current criminal law. While in Czech republic this regulation is discussed for more then 5 years on scientific and political level as well, in Poland the corporal liability was enacted in the year 2002 already.
In the article there is described in detailed form the Polish regulation, discussions held during the process of preparation and adoption of the law, and the constitutional review of the law. The description of the Polish considerations de lege ferenda in the form of the prepared bills is also included.
