The (Non-)Reception of Scotus’s Proof of God’s Existence by the Baroque Scotists

Abstract

The article explores how the baroque Scotists understood Scotus’s proof of God’s existence. None of the five examined Scotists have understood the originality of Scotus’s proof; they take it just as an expression of the general tradition.
