The export of Czechoslovak uranium to the Soviet Union in the years 1946-1959

Abstract

The study concentrates on the construction of the uranium industry and the behaviour of the Soviet Union as the monopolistic consumer of the production, especially in the matter of price. The study shows the results of the high value ratio of the uranium on the exports to the Soviet Union.

This ratio deepened the dependency of Czechoslovakia on Soviet economy.
