Abstract
The article summarizes information concerning new project in the grey literature domain called „OpenSIGLE (database)“. The project is lead by the French Institute for Scientific and Technical Information experts in cooperation with other experts from former EAGLE member institutions.
Both information, from published materials and online and free accessible database OpenSIGLE are used in this article. Individual parts are devoted to reasons of former SIGLE system and the EAGLE association liquidation, to former MetaGrey Europe project, and mainly to OpenSIGLE database (software selection, metadata conversion and searching capabilities).
Evaluative notes to version of database prototype are added too.
