The veneration of St. Ludmila between the 12th and 14th centuries and its establishment in the cloister of St. George in Prague Castle.

Abstract

Stabilisation of the veneration of přemyslid-saint from relations of chronics legends, remarks of holidays and oficia, patrocinations and the dating of her name-day, besides observed of Ludmila´s name-day in the cloister of St. George.

An adjacent text to the oficium relies on ten manuscripts from St. Georg dating between the 12th cent. up to the start of the 15th century.
