Abstrakt
A comprehensive study of the reception of Byron´s work in the Czech Lands and partially also in Slovakia is focused on its interaction with contemporary ideological tendencies (Czech revivalist nationalism, Pan-Slavism, Hegelianism) and modern aesthetic movements (art nouveau, avant-garde).
