Abstract
The building trade in Kutná Hora is interesting for its genesis and history. Crucial was the existence of the construction works of Benedikt Ried concentrated around S.
Barbora church. The building trade is documented in 1488, however later on it recedes from the documents (time when Benedikt Ried was the head of the building works) and is documented in the 2nd half of 16th century.
