Iron chelation with salicylaldehyde isonicotinoyl hydrazone protects against catecholamine autoxidation and cardiotoxicity

Abstract

In this experimental study, we examined the process of spontaneous aerobic autooxidation of catecholamines epinephrine and isoprenaline and possibility of prevention using the iron chelator SIH.
