The study aims at the opportunities of key learning competences development in the process of teaching. Learning competence framework is observed in two types of secondary grade, concentrating on the differentiation by school in relation to the quality of education.
The study offers an optional approach to measuring the quality of education in this aspect through observation and a follow up evaluation. The used method shows a high degree of conformity at independent observation.
The results of comparative research carried out in over a hundred of observed lessons did not demonstrate any differences in the given aspects at both types of educational institutions.
