Character of female journalist in contemporary Czech movie and television series

Abstract

The article is focused on female journalists as a topic of Czech feature movie and television series produces after 1989. The text argues that in representation of female journalists two strong stereotypes come together: the gender stereotype of a woman in a masculine role and professional stereotype of a journalist.
