Abstract
In Jan 2009 FDA approved clinical trial involving hESCs enrolling subjects suffering spinal cord injury. Globally it was first clinical trial of hESCs.
The main question of today is not if research based on hESCs should be conducted but how to conduct the research of hESCs. Where are ethical borders of biomedical research? How is Convention on Biomedicine influencing hESCs research? Answers to these and also other questions could be found in this paper.
